The family film archive / Collection 01
Family history did not always sit still for a photograph. These films bring the gestures and relationships into motion, through surviving footage and stories made today. The names and context stay with each one.
Four films / One growing collection
Start with Together Again, an imagined reunion of Jessie, Tennie and Billy Guy. Continue into the family films preserved from earlier years.
UNSUPERVISED* RECOVERED / 31 seconds
Jessie Quenile Walker meets her daughter Tennie Lee Smith Anderson at a station imagined as Heaven. Billy Guy Anderson arrives in his number 14 football uniform. Their silent embrace says the rest.
