Alvin Perry is the child seated in the center of the studio portrait with Lorene and Raymond. The surviving caption names the three from left to right, and Alvin was Raymond’s brother.
That careful naming allows the photograph to remain a picture of particular people. Alvin’s position is known even though the studio and exact date are still open.

Alvin Lee Perry and his family
Alvin Lee Perry was a younger brother of Raymond. The supplied family record gives his birth year as 1921. Julia’s family history records that he married Ethel Lee Halford and that they had a son, James Clayton Perry.
He was living in Lubbock when Raymond died in 1974.
